Der Grund war (wieder ein mal) der angesagte Westwind mit guten 5..6 Windst\u00e4rken auf der Nase. Die Grundmauern der trutzigen Anlage stammen aus dem 11. Jh, womit die Kapelle zu einer der \u00e4ltesten in der Normandie z\u00e4hlt. Seit dem 13. Jh ist sie ein Wallfahrtsort f\u00fcr Seefahrer. Selene war doch aber eigentlich bei Reiseantritt dicht? Also begann die Suche: Borddurchl\u00e4sse, Ruderschaft, Stopfbuchse .. alles staubtrocken. Beim herumleuchten im Maschinenkasten sehe ich Wassertropfen. Da ist doch tats\u00e4chlich die Dichtung vom Seegrasfilter gerissen. Aus Ermangelung an einem Neuteil klebe ich das Teil kurzerhand wieder zusammen. Sie hatten \u00e4hnlich viele Umpark-Aktionen durch. Die beiden haben das Bordleben auch mit einer einf\u00e4hrigen Auszeit vor vier Jahren begonnen, sich aber dann daf\u00fcr entschieden, dauerhaft auf ihrem Boot zu leben. Es gibt dazu auch einen kurzweiligen Blog unter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tamtam-sailing.de\/\">https:\/\/www.tamtam-sailing.de\/<\/a>. Da die beiden schon ein paar Jahre an der franz\u00f6sischen K\u00fcste verbringen, wurden wir mit vielen n\u00fctzlichen Infos f\u00fcr kommende Reviere versorgt. In Frankreich gibt es zwar (fast) \u00fcberall W-Lan, jedoch ist die Bandbreite manchmal etwas mies ( so mies wie in D-land aber bei Weitem nicht&#8230;). Auch daf\u00fcr wurde uns eine L\u00f6sung gezeigt: Von dem Anbieter &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/free.fr\">Free<\/a>&#8220; kann man in bestimmten Gesch\u00e4ften f\u00fcr 20\u20ac eine Prepaid Simkarte kaufen, mit der man 100GB LTE Daten f\u00fcr 4 Wochen bekommt. Einziger Knackpunkt: die Karten bekommt man zwar am Automaten, diese stehen jedoch nicht in jeder Stadt zu Verf\u00fcgung. In Cherbourg haben wir sp\u00e4ter eine erstanden &#8211; so fungiert Claudis Not-&#8222;H\u00e4ndie&#8220; nun als W-Lan Hotspot.<\/p>\n<p><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mobile.free.fr\/couverture\/images\/borne.jpg\"><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" data-src=\"https:\/\/mobile.free.fr\/couverture\/images\/borne.jpg\" class=\" lazyload\"><\/p>\n<p>Dann wollten wir aber weiter &#8230; Es ist schon frustrierend, wenn man nicht aus dem Hafen kann, weil einfach noch nicht genug Wasser da ist, damit die Tore ge\u00f6ffnet werden k\u00f6nnen. So verstrichen die ersten 5 Stunden Nordwind ungenutzt. Als sich am Donnerstag (5.9.2019) dann endlich gegen 14:30 Uhr die Tore \u00f6ffneten, erwartete uns erst mal noch eine ganz sch\u00f6ne Welle in der Hafenausfahrt, die unser Deck ein paar mal ordentlich mit Wasser \u00fcbersp\u00fclt hat &#8211; diesmal waren die Decksluken fest verschlossen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/martin-kuettner.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/00111_2.gif\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1673 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/martin-kuettner.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/00111_2.gif\" alt width=\"524\" height=\"295\"><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1673 size-full lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%22%20viewBox%3D%220%200%20524%20295%22%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" alt width=\"524\" height=\"295\" data-src=\"https:\/\/martin-kuettner.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/00111_2.gif\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Man soll in allem aber etwas gutes sehen, denn in Fecamp hatte ich noch unseren Schwanenhals (Kabeldurchf\u00fchrung vom Mast) und 2 Fenster neu eingedichtet. Test bestanden, kein Wasser im Boot.<\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich war der Nordwind ein Nordwestwind, soda\u00df wir 50 der gut 70 Meilen -wiedermal- konstant am Wind fahren mussten. Stampfen, Schr\u00e4glage, alles rollert durch die Gegend &#8211; in einem Wort: Nervig! Aber wir sind mit gut 8 kn sehr schnell unterwegs, zumindest so lange der Gezeitenstrom mitmacht. Denn mit dem war gut 20 Meilen von dem Ziel Schlu\u00df. Der Wind hat auch gleich noch mit aufgegeben, was unsere Geschwindigkeit auf schlappe 1,5kn reduziert hat. Normalerweise w\u00fcrde ich mich ja einfach treiben lassen, aber in 4..5 h war schon wieder ein straffes Westwindfeld angesagt. Und wir wollten genau nach Westen. Zudem w\u00fcrde uns der Gezeitenstrom wieder zur\u00fcck nach Osten bringen = Mist!<\/p>\n<p>So haben wir uns per Dieselfock die etwa 5 Meilen bis zum Festland mit 3,5kn (2,5kn Gegenstrom) erk\u00e4mpft. Ab dann gab es 2 M\u00f6glichkeiten. Entweder im sicheren Wasser weiter gegenan, oder ganz dicht an der K\u00fcste durch das Untiefengebiet. Da wir gerade Hochwasser hatten und meine Karten sehr detailiert sind habe ich mich f\u00fcr Nummer 2 entschieden. So ging die Fahrt mit starrem Blick auf den Kartenplotter weiter. Eigentlich wollten wir nur einen halben Tag bleiben, aber das Wetterfenster am Sonntag (8.9.2019) sah besser aus. Wir w\u00fcrden zwar diesmal im Dunkeln (ca. 6:30 Uhr) ablegen aber die Kanalinseln, welche das n\u00e4chste Ziel sein sollten, tags\u00fcber erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Damit blieb ein ganzer Tag Zeit Cherbourg mal anzuschauen &#8211; echt sch\u00f6n hier. Eine ausgedehnte Runde durch die Altstadt l\u00e4\u00dft Urlaubsfeeling \u00e1 la Normandie aufkommen: enge Gassen, windschiefe Steinh\u00e4user, Patisserien und Boulangerien, Bars, Caf\u00e8s und jeder zweite hat das traditionelle It-Piece (ein Baguette) in der Hand. Zuf\u00e4llig komme ich an der &#8222;Manufacture de Parapluies de Cherbourg&#8220;, dem Regenschirm-Museum vorbei. In dem alterw\u00fcrdigen Fabrikgeb\u00e4ude wurde bereits ab 1807 Regenschirme seriell produziert. Somit gilt Cherbourg als die &#8222;Haupstadt der Regenschirme&#8220; in Frankreich\/Europa. Auf Grund der schieren Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des vielseitigen Museeum rund um die ehemalige Abfertigungshalle der Ozeanriesen aus dem Beginn der Gro\u00dfschifffahrt, sollte man gut 6 Stunden einplanen, wenn man die 3 gro\u00dfen Hauptausstellungen besuchen m\u00f6chte. Themen sind die Titanic (Cherbourg war einer der H\u00e4fen, welche das Schiff vor seiner Crashfahrt angelaufen hat), ein Meeresmuseeum (Fische!) und das erste nuklear angetriebene U-Boot der franz\u00f6sischen Marine. Der Reaktorraum der &#8222;Le Redoutable&#8220; &#8211; der Furchterregenden-&nbsp; ist zwar leer, aber vor allem durch den Audioguide ist es einen Rundgang wert. Der l\u00e4ngste Absatz wird im Raketenraum erz\u00e4hlt. Schon erschreckend, wenn man die 16 Abschussrohre sieht und erkl\u00e4rt bekommt, da\u00df alleine 2 dieser Raketen die Sprengkraft aller verbrauchen Munition beider (!) class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nemo-Fisch<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Am Sonntag, dem 8.9.2019 ging es dann weiter! Ziel: Beaucette auf der Insel Guernsey. Die Terminfahrerei aus Wind und Tide gab uns zwei M\u00f6glichkeiten. Entweder abends losfahren und mitten in der Nacht ankommen, oder fr\u00fch aufstehen und etwa Mittags ankommen. Beaucette hat noch ein weiteres Schmankerl: Die Einfahrt geht nur zwischen zwei Stunden vor, bis zwei Stunden nach Hochwasser. Wir entschieden und f\u00fcr die fr\u00fche Abfahrt, was eine gute Entscheidung war. Zum ersten gibt es in dem Gebiet unglaublich viele Austernb\u00e4nke, die nur mit 2 kleinen B\u00e4llen markiert sind. Selbst am Tag mu\u00df man pausenlos Ausschau halten, damit man sich sowas nicht in die Schraube holt. Nachts ist es wie &#8222;Russisch Roulette&#8220;. Zum zweiten ist hinter der Einfahrt von Beaucette eine (unbeleuchtete) Anzeige, die den Wasserstand \u00fcber dem S\u00fcll (das ist die Kante, die verhindert, da\u00df der Hafen bei Ebbe leer l\u00e4uft) gibt. Und zum dritten ist die Einfahrt nur 8 Meter breit und vorher gibt es zwei Riffe, die mit (unbefeuerten) Spieren markiert sind.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1720\" Der Hafen und das Flair sind so sch\u00f6n, da\u00df man ins schw\u00e4rmen k\u00f6mmen k\u00f6nnte. \u00dcberhaupt, ich (Claudi) bin jetzt schon schwer verliebt in diese wundersch\u00f6ne kleine Insel! Es g\u00e4be zwar noch Saint Peter Port, jedoch hat uns dort die schiere Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Marina abgeschreckt. Vielleicht ist es ja dort auch sch\u00f6n, aber wir haben seit Abfahrt fast immer in solchen &#8222;Mega-Marinas&#8220; gelegen.&nbsp; Beaucette war von daher die einzige Alternative, da es auch ein Klarierungshafen ist.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Sonntag Nachmittag war der Hafenmeister\/Zollbeamte schon au\u00dfer Dienst.
